Explanation and tips for CU Anschutz affiliates (students/faculty/staff/residents/fellows at CU Anschutz) working at UCHealth hospitals
UCHealth pays to access a portion (but not all) of the library's electronic resources. University of Colorado Hospital, Poudre Valley Hospital, Medical Center of the Rockies, Memorial Hospital North, and Memorial Hospital Central have each decided which resources they pay for. You cannot readily access the resources the hospital does not pay for while on hospital computers or the UCHealth wireless network, but there are a few options for accessing all library resources while at a UCHealth hospital:
- On a laptop or mobile device, log in to CU's VPN, GlobalProtect (see installation instructions), then log in on the library's Off Campus Access page using your university username and password. You must be logged in to CU VPN before logging in to the library’s Off Campus Access page.
- On a mobile device, disconnect from the UCHealth wireless network and use data (fees may apply, depending on your data plan), then log in on the library's Off Campus Access page using your university username and password.
- Some resources have mobile apps available for free to CU Anschutz affiliates. Download the app onto your mobile device when you are not at UCHealth, then it can be used at UCHealth regardless of network connection.
