  • Today out on the 2nd floor balcony I found 2 dead birds that had hit the window, could measures be taken to prevent this?
I was hoping that preventative measures to stop birds from hitting the window could be taken. Options like reflective stickers to alert them or preventative film, other ideas can be found here:

Hopefully, there is an easy and effective solution.

    Thank you,

  • Women's Bathroom 2nd Floor
The women's bathroom right near Study Zone on the second floor is in need of a second soap dispenser- since there is only one, it is empty about half the time. The toilet closest to the door is also clogged about 50% of the time and somehting is clearly wrong with the flush. Thank you.

  • Disturbing drawing
Hi, every time I pull up the Strauss Health Sciences Library homepage I see this disturbing drawing of naked people standing around (The 4th Trimester Project). I don't enjoy having to look at this image of naked people. I am not a medical doctor. I can't avoid it since it's right on the homepage. Please remove it.

  • Why don't graduate students have badge access to the library?
How am I going to use this resource when CU arbitrarily removes badge access to the library? Why doesn't the administration of this campus ever think through the outcomes of the terrible policy choices they make? Why do they insist on wasting my time and making me wade through the bureaucratic morass of their terrible, fragmented, leadership to correct this idiotic oversight? I'm sorry that I'm venting at you, the library staff, who do a fantastic job.

  • Second Floor Quiet Zone/Study Zone
Would it be possible to remind/make sure that students know that the second floor and study zone areas are a quiet zone? Many students have started using the study zone rooms to take meetings/phone calls and participate in virtual classes, which is disruptive to other students who use that area for quiet studying. Thanks!

  • Thanks for all you do to keep the library safe and accessible for us! I love all of the exercise equipment in the library as it allows me to take breaks every hour or so to reset my body and mind. However, one thing that would make it even better would be a pull-up bar! How likely would it be to get a simply bar installed somewhere in the library? I'm sure there are some decent places on walls with studs in them. Or even a freestanding pullup bar would be fantastic! Thanks!

  • Pull-up bars?
Hi! I like to do sets of pushups every so often while I'm studying to take a small break/keep the blood circulating. Would be neat to have a pull-up bar on the first floor to do the same. Thought it might be possible since there are so many study treadmills/bikes/etc.

  • Very loud front desk workers
    Hello,
I was trying to get some studying done today, however there were two blonde girls on the front desk, who did not stop talking loudly the entire time. I had to find another place to sit.
It has be the norm to have such a quiet environment in libraries, but it looks like it is not anymore. And what makes it worse is that the noise comes from the staff.
The time I am talking about is 3 to 5 pm on Thursday 1/30/2020.
    Thank you

  • Recycling
I have noticed that the cleaning people put the recycling and trash into the same bin even though there are blue bins specifically for recycling... Does the library not recycle anything?

  • I preferred finding eBooks from the list by topic instead of the search feature. I get too many results and the filters are sufficient to group by topic.
