Standing desks with docking stations Details:

It would be great to have standing desks with computer monitor(s) on adjustable arms and a mini-display port/thunderbolt. HDMI, VGA, DVI adapter so we can watch lectures without falling asleep and still take notes on our own laptops

Answer:

Thank you for the comment and ideas. The library is experimenting now with creating some docking stations at certain pods in the computer area of the first floor. We have removed thin client stations from that pod, and are setting up equipment for users to plug in their own laptops to a larger monitor. I’m sure future instances and changes like this could incorporate consideration of height-adjustable options on our computer pods. And perhaps over time the library can offer more height-adjustable standing desks with monitors attached for uses similar to your idea.

Thank you.
