Question:

Book purchasing recommendation

Details:

Any chance the library could purchase this book: "The 21st Century Take on Observational Studies: Using Real-World Evidence in the New Millennium"? Any information that helps design meaningful clinical studies is much needed.

Answer:

Hello,
Thank you for contacting the Library about books on clinical study design.  I looked up the book you inquired about, and found that the report is mostly drawn from comments made during a webinar.  We usually don’t purchase reports like this.

The Library does have some books on this topic.

Here are some examples:
Clinical trials study design, endpoints and biomarkers, drug safety, and FDA and ICH guidelines
Applied longitudinal data analysis for epidemiology: a practical guide
Designing clinical research

If you need more help in researching the topic, you might want to contact our reference librarians by going through our online reference service at:

Hope this helps!
