Hello,

I have passed along this generic comment to custodial services under Campus Facilities. It seems awfully broad and these sorts of comments are most useful when location and room numbers are given. I am not sure I would agree that a lot of the tables are literally "filthy" but I appreciate everyone has their own expectations and sense of standards for cleanliness. The custodians do a good job in my estimation and I know sometimes it is hard for them to get into rooms when it is busier and the room is occupied. If an area is literally filthy and yucky, you can always call campus Facilities at 303-724-1777 and report a room in need of cleaning anytime--leave a voicemail and room number. 

The library has reinstated putting out stands on each floor with cans of sanitizing wipes. We refill these the best we can depending on overall usage. We do not have an unlimited supply and hopefully, library users will take what they need and leave the cans of wipes in their designated locations so everyone can benefit.

We will keep an eye on it but I did not see filthy tables this week. I checked a lot of them in most rooms across all the floors and in open areas too. Maybe last week or two this was a problem. I do not know. Perhaps one of the custodians was ill or the campus system got pressed with staffing challenges and the like. It is a very large campus to clean.
